Licensing & Contracting Specialist

Posted 3/11/10 – Immediate opening for an experienced insurance Licensing and Contracting Specialist. The Licensing and Contracting Specialist processes all new licensing and contracting paperwork for agents appointed with our General Agency and works with our Broker Relations staff to ensure new agents are onboarded successfully. In addition, this position assists existing agents with new carrier appointments, E+O paperwork, and other contracting and commissions detail. This administrative position also assists internal representatives to ensure their state licensing, carrier appointments, and E+O is up-to-date. All activity is carefully documented in our Customer Relations Management system.

This position requires strong organization skills and excellent attention to detail. In addition, the incumbent must be able to multi-task and will be encouraged to recommend opportunities to streamline our licensing and contracting processes. Finally, this position must share our company’s passion for providing superior service to our agents.

We require a minimum of two years of similar work experience. Microsoft Office skills, in particular Microsoft Excel, are also required.
